INspiration e-commerce
Overview
This site is a concept update to an early version e-commerce site for a furniture store. Originally built on a customized zen-cart framework, the original site experienced limitations as design demands changed. The new version utilizes a robust CMS (content management system) on the back end so store managers can easily update products, prices and information. It also leverages current Web standards technology for optimization, tracking and SEO.
Design
This site is built on the popular Drupal CMS framework with custom CSS and PHP code to meet unique specifications for product information and order processing. Technologies leveraged are: Flash, Javascript (JQuery/AJAX), PHP/MySQL. The site includes up-to-date PHP injection deterrents and other security measures invisible to the average user. PCI Data security was given a high consideration and integrated with Authorize.net's SIM (information is stored on secure servers managed by Authorize.net).
